This Sunday

Traditional Worship @ 8:30 & 11:00 am
Pastor Kevin Tully, Senior Pastor

In this week's scripture reading, Luke 1:46-55, we hear Mother Mary's song, the Magnificat. In her song she sings about her delight in the Lord and her awe at His great love.  But what if this song is our song too?  Join us Sunday at 8:30 amd 11:0 am as Pastor Tully reflects on Mary's words in her verse and imagines that these were our words too.

Modern Worship @ 11:15 am
Rev. Val Stewart, Associate Pastor

This Sunday Modern Worship will be holding a special service of scripture and contemporary Christmas music that tells the story of Jesus’ birth as we prepare our hearts to receive Jesus again. Come experience the nativity story through scripture and song as our Modern Worship band leads the music, and members of our congregation read the scriptures dear to our hearts. Pastor Val will bring a short message, “The Scandalous Birth Story” based on Matthew 1:18-25, and we will go out singing with joy, and filled with the hope, peace, and love of Christ in our hearts.

Where do we fit into God's mission?
In Matthew 5:1-11, Jesus describes groups of people who will inherit the kingdom of heaven—people who often seem different from us. So, what do we do when Jesus is not talking about us? Where do we fit into God's mission if Jesus is handing the kingdom over to someone else?
